Become a member

Who can be a member?

Anyone may become a member upon application and payment or stipulated dues. The only other requirement shall be an honest interest in archaeology.

Membership benefits


As a member, you are invited to attend all monthly meetings of the chapter. Programs including site reports, illustrated talks roundtable discussions and paper are presented, which are usually interesting and entertaining, announcements are mailed to all members, outlining each program.


You are privileged to receive the benefit of services offered by the Educational Committee, which includes educational meetings in addition to regular meetings, fundamental instruction in method and theory of archaeology and educational papers.

You are entitled to make use of the free loan library, which consists of books and periodicals on the subject of archaeology.


You are entitled to engage in fieldwork and research in the area. Through this group, you will have an excellent opportunity to participate actively in surveys, excavation and other sincere amateurs, who are striving to learn more about archaeology.
